MATERIALS:

- Safety tools (Lines, Veils, the X-card, etc.)

- A standard deck of playing cards with the face cards, Aces, and Jokers separated and sorted out 

- An 8-sided die (d8)

- A shared document, online or physical, for note-taking 

TOUCHSTONES:

- A game of Sarcodes Sanguinea I played, in which a character engraved their sword with a eulogy to their wife 

- Sad traveler stories 

PREMISE: 

This is a two player game. 

One of you plays a traveling character called the wielder who carries a distinct weapon. The wielder never uses their weapon for violence in this game. 

One of you plays the four characters who ask about the wielder and their weapon; they are called the strangers.
